If you’ve been in EPCOT lately, you’ve probably noticed a lot of construction going on.

The park is in the middle of a major multi-year transformation, in which attractions, dining, and retail locations have been demolished and new spots have taken their places. We’ve already gotten the new Connections Cafe and Eatery, Creations Shop, and many other additions, but major attractions like Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana have yet to open. But, did you notice that outside of this transformation, another area of the park has been covered in construction lately?
Over in the World Showcase, the Canada pavilion has been going through a lot of changes. We noticed that the building Le Cellier is located in is covered in scaffolding!

If you have a reservation for this restaurant, you might be surprised to see all of the construction walls surrounding the entrance.

And on the upper level of the pavilion, next to the Trading Post, a large portion of the area is blocked off.

This area looks like it’s undergoing some major changes, so we spoke to some cast members about it. One said that they were told it was just general maintenance, while another suggested they were putting a kitchen in the upstairs area of Le Cellier.

We still don’t know for certain, but we will keep an eye on the situation and let you know as we know more!
