Something WEIRD is Happening with the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is just days away from starting, and we can’t wait to try all the new snacks, desserts, and drinks (duh!).

While we wait for the festival to begin on July 27th, we can’t help but look out for signs that the festival is on its way. Now, we’ve got some HUGE signs that the big event is coming soon. Let’s take a look!

The Food & Wine Festival invites guests to the World Showcases to enjoy TONS of unique foods, along with some special entertainment, merchandise, and more. So far, we’ve already seen some festival merchandise, like this new popcorn bucket, which we thought was a little odd considering how EARLY it was released!

Although we’re starting to see some hints that the festival is coming soon, the event doesn’t officially start until July 27th; it will run through November 18th. During that time, you’ll be able to try snacks and drinks from over 25 food booths, including some returning favorites like Flavors from Fire, Canada, The Fry Basket India, Spain, and Shimmering Sips. We’re still waiting for the official menus to debut, though.

Interestingly, Disney hasn’t shared any updates on the 2023 menus yet (Disney is unseasonably late, we might add), but we are starting to see some of the festival food booth signs appear in EPCOT. First up, there’s the Belgium booth…

…and the China booth…

…as well as the Shimmering Sips booth.

We also got a peek at the Spain booth…

…and The Alps booth. Sadly, none of these booths show a menu yet. For now, they just say, “Coming Soon.” Note that this is just a small sample of the MANY food booths popping up around the World Showcase.

But, the plot thickens! As we were visiting the Canada pavilion, we noticed that the Refreshment Port booth (which normally remains open) is temporarily closed! Disney stated that it will remain closed until the Food and Wine Festival starts on July 27th. What is going on, Disney?!

We’ll be keeping our eyes out for more booth and menu announcements as the opening date gets closer, so stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest festival news!
