Why You May Want to Avoid EPCOT Today

It’s finally here! It’s the first day of the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival.

We don’t know about you, but we’re excited about everything the festival has to offer. We’ve already seen the topiaries (including the Encanto-themed ones), as well as many food booth menus. Today, though, we’re going to be seeing IT ALL. That is after we navigate through the opening day crowds.

The crowds started EARLY this morning at EPCOT. We had to drive our way through quite a bit of traffic to park this morning.

We also ran into a LOT of people waiting to get through security.

The crowds were already lined up and ready to enter the park by the time we arrived!

Of course, many guests went straight to Creations Shop, meaning that we found a long line there. So many people are wanting to get their hands on festival-exclusive merchandise.

World Showcase was relatively quiet BEFORE the festival officially started.

But as we got close to the opening of the festival, we started seeing some serious lines forming at the food booths.

For example, that Brunchcot line started extended well beyond the booth just a little while later.

We saw the same situation at many of the other food booths.

Something tells us it’s going to be a BUSY day at EPCOT. We’ll continue to update this post throughout the day, so be sure to check back with AllEars often!
