Demand was high for Disney World when the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser set sail on its first voyages.

However, recently, we’ve discovered something has been going on with the interactive experience. We hadn’t seen very many sold out dates for the hotel, but shortly after that, we noticed a lot of dates were suddenly unavailable. We weren’t sure what that meant.
Then, Disney started releasing its first discounts for the hotel. Well, now, Disney has released a HUGE discount exclusively for eligible Cast Members and Retired Cast Members.

Okay, so the regular starting price for the cheapest room on the Galactic Starcruiser for two guests per cabin is $4,809. The price for three guests per cabin is $5,299, while the price for four guests per cabin is $5,999.

For select dates, eligible Disney Cast Members and retired Cast Members can book a voyage on the Galactic Starcruiser for $2,490 for two adults, $2,670 for two adults and one child, and $2,960 for three adults and one child.
The discount is available for the following voyage departure dates: March 22nd, March 24th, April 19th, April 23rd, April 25th, April 27th, May 7th, May 11th, June 10th, and June 22nd.

Note that these are sample rates and the actual price will depend on size of party and type of room. A company-issued ID will be required at check-in to get this discount. To check rates and book a reservation, call 407-939-7796.

Certain rules do apply, so be sure to read the fine print. Cast Members cannot access backstage areas as guests of the Galactic Starcruiser, nor can they discuss this discount while on board. The offer also excludes Galaxy Class Suite and Grand Captain’s Suite.

We’ll be sure to let you know if we spot any other Disney World discounts or deals, so be sure to check back with AllEars for more.

I guess the hype has begun to fade. Once all the die hard Star Wars fans have been there who would want to pay these prices. Could it become just a Star Wars themed resort hotel without all of the immersion? Time will tell.
Even with a discount, cast members will still need to work two months to earn enough take home pay to afford this!
LOL I said the same thing! Even at that price it’s RIP OFF! I can stay at amazing GRAND FLORIDIAN facing the great theme park in the world for $500 a night, family of 4! With Pool, epic lobby, beach, ugh don’t get me started how horrible GS is!
