Disney’s release schedule for the next few years just came into clearer focus.

During the 2025 Destination D23 event in August, Disney gave updates on upcoming projects from Disney Animation, Pixar, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, LucasFilm, and 20th Century Studios, as well as announcing a NEW film. These revelations gave cinephiles who’ve been covering the Disney company for years, like myself, the chance to assemble the most complete yet timeline for Disney’s slate over the next several years.

Let’s begin with feature films, each of which will be released theatrically in the United States unless otherwise noted.

Before we reach 2026, however, several films are still scheduled for the remaining months of 2025. These include:

- Tron: Ares – October 10th
- The Hand That Rocks the Cradle – October 22nd (Streaming on Hulu)

Disney’s upcoming slate got beyond films, however, with several new and returning series coming to the company’s streaming services.

These include:
- Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Season 2 – Streaming on Disney+ September 19th.
- Star Wars Visions – Streaming on Disney+ October 29th.
- Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation – Streaming on Disney+ October 29th.
- The Beatles Anthology (2025 Version) – Streaming on Disney+ November 26th, 2025.
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 – Streaming on Disney+ December 10th, 2025.
- Marvel’s Wonder Man – Streaming on Disney+ December 2025.
- Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair – Streaming on Disney+ December 2025.

Further series confirmed to be debuting or returning with new seasons to Disney+ with no confirmed return dates as of yet, include Ashoka, Daredevil: Born Again, X-Men ’97, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Vision Quest, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
