Disney has partnered with lots of companies over the years to further lots of different projects.

They’ve partnered with McDonald’s many times in the past, and continue to have many different Happy Meal toys inspired by Disney IP. It was rumored last year that Disney could be sold to Apple, and while we don’t know if that will ever happen, we do know that Disney+ and Apple have teamed up for a new project.
According to a press release from Disney+, a new experience will be available on Apple Vision Pro starting on February 2nd, 2024. On Apple’s new revolutionary spatial computer, Disney+ subscribers will be able to stream content in a new way at no additional cost.

Users will be able to transform their space into one of four environments while they watch Disney+’s catalog, which includes animations and sounds to immerse the user.
- “The Disney+ Theater, inspired by the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood
- The Scare Floor from Pixar’s Monsters Inc.
- Marvel’s Avengers Tower overlooking downtown Manhattan
- The cockpit of Luke Skywalker’s landspeeder, facing a binary sunset on the planet Tatooine”

Not only that, but users will also be able to watch select films in 3D, such as “Avatar: The Way of Water, Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Elemental, and Encanto” to name a few. More films will be revealed at a later date. The press release states that “Apple Vision Pro users can also rent or purchase most 3D movies through the Store tab in the Apple TV app. Users who previously purchased Disney movies that include 3D versions from the Apple TV app will be able to access those 3D versions on Apple Vision Pro at no additional cost.”

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, commented on the new project, saying “‘Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary platform that will bring our fans closer to the characters and stories they love while immersing them more deeply in all that Disney has to offer. We’re proud to once again be partnering with Apple to bring extraordinary new Disney experiences to people around the world.'”
