Fantasmic! and Extended Evening Hours Canceled in Disney World Due to Tropical Storm Nicole

Tropical Storm Nicole is the 14th named storm of the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season, and it’s expected to hit Central Florida in the next couple of days.

Disney World has been making preparations for the storm, some of which include removing reservation ability for hotels, suspending park passes, and closing certain areas of the Resort. Now, 2 nighttime events at Disney World have been canceled as Central Florida braces for the storm’s arrival.

The scheduled performance of Fantasmic! for tonight (November 9th) has been canceled. This show recently returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with new scenes and effects. It was supposed to run at 8PM but will not happen tonight.

Hollywood Studios is still scheduled to be open until 9PM, although this could change if Disney deems the threat of the storm to be severe enough.
