Disney World Suspends New Park Passes Ahead of Subtropical Storm Nicole

Disney World’s Park Pass Reservation System isn’t going away anytime soon, and now that we’re heading into the holidays, we’re here to remind you to get your pass ASAP!

Park Reservations are required!

The holiday season is typically busy around Thanksgiving (and Park Passes are already sold out for Thanksgiving) and Christmas in Disney World but this year you may have some issues finding a park reservation on more dates leading up to Thanksgiving — and here’s why.

Recently Disney World announced cancelations and closures due to subtropical Storm Nicole, which is expected to affect Florida later this week. These closures will affect several Disney World hotels, as well as the water park and a few other locations. We saw Disney do this with hotels ahead of Hurricane Ian, and it’s possible that they’re doing the same thing now with Park Passes.

We took a look at the open Park Reservations on Disney World’s calendar this week and found that two dates this week have fully sold out at this time. For people with theme park tickets, Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are already sold out on November 8th, 9th, and 12th, and all four Disney Parks are fully sold out on November 10th and 11th.

The same sold-out dates also apply to resort hotel guests. Note that Veterans Day takes place on November 11th, which often results in a day off for many schools and employees, but this could also be Disney World closing remaining park reservations ahead of the storm.

When it comes to Disney World Annual Passholders, there is quite a bit of limited availability this week. For those with the Incredi Pass, Magic Kingdom is sold out from November 10th to the 12th, and EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios are sold out on the 10th and 11th. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also sold out on November 8th.

For the Sorcerer Pass, all four Disney Parks are sold out on November 10th and 11th. Additionally, Hollywood Studios is sold out on November 8th and the 12th, and Magic Kingdom is sold out on November 12th. These same dates apply to the Pirate Pass as well.

And for the Pixie Dust Pass, all four parks are sold out on November 10th and 11th, with Hollywood Studios also sold out on November 8th. Pixie Dust Passholders are blocked out on November 12.

As always, we recommend getting your Disney World Park Passes as soon as you know your visiting dates, especially during the holiday season, and we’ll also be keeping an eye on subtropical Storm Nicole and any other closures Disney World may put into effect.
