New Construction UPDATES from Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney World

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is dedicated to all things movie magic.

From Star Wars and The Muppets to Cars and Toy Story, there are plenty of films represented in this park. But, some movies and franchises have entire lands dedicated to them — and one of our favorites just so happens to be Toy Story Land. A new restaurant is slated to open here later this year, so let’s take a look at the latest progress at Woody’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ!

A whole lot of scaffolding has been put up since the last time we looked in on Woody’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Hopefully, this means crews have started work on the exterior of the building.

More scaffolding has popped up since our last update

It also looks like the green scrim covering the fence has been through the wringer and some signage is missing as well — could this be remnants of minor damage from Hurricane Ian?

Taking a look at an aerial view from @bioreconstruct on Twitter, we can see that a sidewalk has been paved from the green fence all the way to the entrance of the restaurant building.

And it looks like work has started on some of the exterior theming as well — and an excavator has moved in! We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates on Woody’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ, so stay tuned.
