Since Disney announced the return of traditional character meet-and-greets a few months ago, we’ve slowly seen them start to return to Disney World.
We’ve seen Peter Pan, Snow White, and more return to Magic Kingdom. Plus Mickey and Minnie have returned to Adventurer’s Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, we have more details about a new AND returning character interaction coming to Animal Kingdom!
Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Chip ‘n’ Dale will be returning to DinoLand, U.S.A. for meet-and-greets on September 4th — which is so soon! Chip and Dale will be dressed up in their dinosaur outfits, so you have that to look forward to!
Following Animal Kingdom’s reopening, the only way you could see these characters was during one of the character flotillas on the Discovery River, so we’re so excited to see them make their return to DinoLand.
If you’re interested in meeting these characters (or any characters at Disney World), you can check the times in the My Disney Experience app.
Also beginning on September 4th, you might be able to spot a brand new flotilla at Animal Kingdom! It’s called the “Adventure Flotilla” and, on it, you could see Launchpad McQuack and Scrooge McDuck from DuckTales or Russel and Dug from Up.
We’ve seen some of these characters on Floatillas before (at least when it comes to Launchpad) but now it seems there will be a new one for you to search for!
