Disney World vacations aren’t cheap, and that goes for Disney World hotel stays, too. Even value resorts on Disney World property can seem a bit expensive if you’re on a budget.

But what if we told you there were less expensive hotels AT Disney World where you could stay instead? Well, get ready to start taking some notes because we’re about to tell you how you can have a Disney World stay WITHOUT paying for a Disney World hotel.
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
Did you know there’s a resort within walking distance of EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s BoardWalk that isn’t owned by Disney? It’s the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, which have deluxe-like accommodations without the Disney World deluxe prices — rooms here can cost about half of what a typical Disney World deluxe hotel room goes for!

Even better? Guests who stay here still get the deluxe perk of being able to have both Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening hours! Also, transportation to/from the parks is provided.

Most importantly, the location can’t be beaten — it’s part of the EPCOT area of resorts that includes Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, as well as Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. That means loads of great dining locations nearby, as well as bars and nightclubs!

Want to save even MORE money on a room here? These resorts are owned by Marriott, meaning that you can use Marriott Bonvoy Rewards to book rooms! This also goes for the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Hotel, although that hotel is a bit pricier.
Disney Springs Hotels
There are seven hotels that are NOT Disney hotels but are within walking distance of Disney Springs. These hotels all offer complimentary shuttle service to and from the Disney parks, as well as perks like Early Theme Park Entry.

These hotels include the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando, Holiday Inn Orlando, Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, B Resort & Spa, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, and Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando. Rates can run as low as $79 per night!!!

Another bonus is that many of these hotels have their own rewards programs, meaning you can use points to book stays with them.
So you see, there are other options if you don’t mind staying in a hotel with a little less theming that isn’t owned by Disney. You could save a ton of money in the process, which means more money for Disney food and souvenirs, right?
