PHOTOS & VIDEO: See Inside The New Hotel Opening in Disney World!

Looking for a new hotel option for your next Disney World trip but don’t want to pay Disney prices? Well, there’s a NEW off-site hotel coming to the Disney Springs area that just might fit your needs!

Each of the Disney Springs area hotels provides its own benefits, with several perks like close proximity to the parks (and usually even transportation to the parks), cheaper stays, and other benefits that are usually only reserved for Disney hotel guests. And, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista will soon be another option for guests. We’ve been keeping track of this hotel since it was announced and, as we approach its opening date, we’ve got a FIRST LOOK at what it will look like inside!

The Drury Plaza Hotel at Disney Springs will be located where the Best Western Lake Buena Vista used to reside and is set to open on October 27th, 2022 to guests (note that you can already make your reservation online). And now, they’ve given us a glimpse at what guests of the hotel can expect! Let’s take a look!

Based on the concept art, guests will arrive and pull up under a large canopy entrance where they can park their car and unload before checking in.

And, when they make their way inside, they’ll be greeted by a contemporary-styled front desk on the left…

…and the lobby area will include a Market Place and a Kitchen + Bar.

Based on the images, it looks like The Market Place will be a spot to grab coffee and pastries.

The second floor will also feature a common area, and it will be a place that you’ll want to visit! They will serve a FREE hot breakfast buffet here daily, along with FREE evening hot food and cold beverages starting at 5:30PM.

And, outside, you’ll find a kid’s splash pad…

…and a resort pool deck, along with some pool bar dining options.

And, the Drury Plaza Hotel won’t just be for Disney-goers. They’ll also feature some larger event spaces like this conference room.

And, when it comes to the rooms, guests can choose from a room with 2 Queen Beds or 1 King Bed that costs a standard rate of around $163 per night ($157 for Drury Rewards members), just keep in mind that these rates will likely vary depending on the time of your stay.

The rooms also offer some sitting areas.

As far as perks go, the hotel is half a mile from Disney Springs and will offer free shuttle service to all four Disney World theme parks. Guests also get a free hot breakfast, evening snacks, cold beverages (at the second-floor commons area we saw earlier), and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. There will also be a Starbucks, Pizza Hut Express, and two on-site restaurants (details on those pending), as well as an arcade. PLUS, guests staying here will be able to take advantage of Disney World’s Early Theme Park Entry, meaning that they’ll get to enter any park 30-minutes before it opens every day.
