Did you know there’s a way to enter Disney World parks before they open and most guests arrive?
Disney introduced Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort hotel guests in 2021 as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations. This service essentially replaced Extra Magic Hours and allows all resort hotel guests to enter any of the four theme parks a half-hour before they open. Now we’ve got an update on just how long Early Theme Park Entry will be sticking around!
Disney has announced that Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort hotel guests will be extended past the 50th Anniversary and will last throughout all of 2023.
Note that this is only for Early Theme Park Entry. Disney has not announced any changes for Extended Theme Park Hours (the other bonus park hours perk introduced during the 50th Anniversary that is exclusive to Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel guests and those staying at Deluxe Villas).
It appears that the specifics of Early Theme Park Entry will remain the same for now — all Disney World resort hotel guests can enter the parks before non-hotel guests, and you must still have valid park admission and a park pass reservation.
We have seen Disney alter the length of time for Early Theme Park Entry in the past, so it’s possible they’ll do that again for limited periods in the future, but Disney hasn’t announced anything of that nature yet.
Early Theme Park Entry is available at all four Disney World parks daily for Disney Resort hotel guests — so be sure to take advantage of this benefit if you qualify!
