TOUR One of the FANCIEST Rooms on the Disney Wish With Us

It’s official! The Disney Wish has been welcomed into the Disney Cruise Line fleet after the official christening on June 29th.

Disney Wish docked at Castaway Cay

We were invited on the inaugural cruise and have been bringing you all of the updates from the ship, including an in-depth look at the World of Marvel dining experience and a tour of a standard stateroom. Now, we’re bringing you on a tour of another stateroom onboard the Wish — the Princess Aurora Royal Suite.

The Princess Aurora Royal Suite is one of the Concierge suites onboard the Wish and is comprised of two main bedrooms, a living area, an open dining room, three full bathrooms, and a private verandah with a whirlpool tub.

The suite is themed after Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and has some subtle (and some not-so-subtle) touches of the film and princess throughout. Let’s get right into it. First up, we have the living space, which is punctuated by this beautiful glass art depicting Sleeping Beauty in the woods.

In addition to the artwork, the living room has a couch, two green chairs, and a gorgeous spiral staircase that leads to the two bedrooms upstairs. The railing for the spiral staircase is gold and very ornate and intricate, adding to the overall elegance of the room.

Heading upstairs, we come across the first bedroom. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed with a nightstand on one side and a vanity area on the other. There’s also a television in the wall and a chair to overlook the great view.

Let’s check out the bathroom!

This bathroom features a double sink with a lighted mirror, a shower equipped with a rainfall shower head, and a tub.

It also includes floor-to-ceiling windows that offer some pretty amazing views.

Gold detailing is prominent throughout the bathroom with the fixtures and the vanity. The second bedroom is similar to the first with more of the blue and gold decor.

But let’s get to the real star of the show: the private verandah with whirlpool tub!

Private verandah

This stateroom gets its own private verandah, complete with lounge chairs and a whirlpool tub overlooking the ocean.

This room also includes a dining area with a pantry and wet bar stocked with things like water and sodas. This area also includes a coffee maker and an electric tea kettle for your morning jolt.

And like the other staterooms on board the Disney Wish, there are subtle theme touches throughout the room. For example, in the bedrooms, the light fixtures have gold birds on them, reminiscent of the “Once Upon a Dream” scene in the movie Sleeping Beauty.

There are also large murals of scenes from Sleeping Beauty, as well, like this one that depicts the castle.

There are two versions of this suite onboard the Disney Wish: the Princess Aurora Royal Suite and the Briar Rose Royal Suite. We toured the Princess Aurora Royal Suite, which leans more into the blues and golds (meant to represent Aurora’s time in the castle). The Briar Rose Royal Suite has tones of wood and stone, as a nod to Aurora’s life as Briar Rose.
