You can plan ahead as much as you want for your Disney vacation, but the day of, something might pop up that you weren’t expecting. And, one thing that’s very unpredictable in Disney World is the weather.
We’ve seen some pretty crazy weather in the parks over the years, so when we woke up to Tornado Watches and severe weather warnings in Central Florida, we knew it would be one wet day! So, we’re taking you along with us to check out what a REALLY rainy day in Disney looks like!
When we first arrived at Magic Kingdom, it wasn’t raining just yet. But, it was clear that the rain had been there — and that more was coming!
It wasn’t too long before the rain started coming down pretty heavily, which led most people to clear out of the walkways and head for cover.
Of course, there were a few brave souls who took on the rain with their rain gear!
And, while most outdoor rides close when there is inclement weather, the ones that were open were PACKED with people trying to escape the rain but still enjoy attractions.
We may be drenched, but the rain did make for some pretty pictures on Main Street, U.S.A.!
Magic Kingdom wasn’t the only park that was impacted by the storm — things were looking pretty similar over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Here, you can see just HOW MUCH rain was coming down!
However, while the weather may have made it a bit more difficult to get around Disney World for us, these guys were loving it! Even rainy days have bright sides when you’re in Disney World, like seeing ducklings!
