So you want to plan a Disney World trip in 2022, but you want to maximize your budget and spend as little as possible. Can a Disney trip be done on the cheap?
Disney World tickets vary in price depending on the month and the day, and you can actually check the Disney World calendar for each day’s ticket price to find one that works for you. If you take advantage of the lower priced days, you can save a lot of money on your tickets!
Let’s take a look at the CHEAPEST days in Disney World in 2022.
We took a look at the Disney World calendar for Standard Tickets, which start at $109 per day for one park per day (without the Park Hopper option). In 2022, tickets range from $109 to $159, so let’s check out the times with the LOWEST ticket prices.
August
Although August is at the tail end of the summer, it can actually be a great time to visit Disney World! From August 22nd to the 25th and August 29th to September 1st, tickets are at $109 per day. You’ll find ticket prices from $109 to $144 throughout the month of August.

In August, it can be extremely hot in Florida, and many families have gone back to school, leading to a decrease in summer crowds. In 2021, we found a lot of Disney World fairly empty in August! If you can work it into your schedule (and bring lots of fans and cooling towels), August can be a great time to visit Disney World.
Is August secretly the BEST time to visit Disney World?
September
September has the highest number of inexpensive days to visit Disney World! You’ll find tickets priced at $109 on September 1st, from the 6th to 8th, the 12th to 15th, the 19th to 22nd, and the 26th to 28th. For the month of September, ticket prices range from $109 to $144.

Most families have fully returned to school by September, and it’s generally one of the quieter times in Disney World. If you’re lucky, you might find the weather slightly (ever so slightly) cooler than in August, and you also have the largest opportunity to take advantage of multiple days with $109 ticket prices.
