NEWS: Another Character Dining Experience Will Reopen in Disney World SOON!

A lot has changed at Disney World over the past year and a half since temporarily closing for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wilderness Lodge

We’ve seen almost all of the Disney World hotels welcome guests backtons of dining locations reopen in the parks and resorts, and even entertainment is starting to make its return. And, while a lot has returned to “normal,” there are still a few things that remain closed. But, now we have a reopening date for a  popular character dining experience!

According to Disney, Story Book Dining at Artist Point in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will reopen SOON on December 16th, 2021!

The full character dining experience will be coming back to the restaurant with guests having the chance to meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and The Queen in the Enchanted Forest atmosphere. Disney has not yet shared if these meetings will be at a distance like they have been at other character dining experiences that have returned to Disney World, but we’ll keep an eye out for updates.

The menu will be a prix fixe dinner with shared appetizers, your choice of plated entree, and shared desserts. And, it will even feature some returning favorites like the Royal Prime Rib Roast and A Stroll Through Nature (which is a vegetarian dish). Plus, you’ll even be able to find a new Enchanted Apple cocktail (which has a hint of sour apple) and the “Poison” Apple dessert with dark chocolate-apple mousse.

Reservations will open for the restaurant on December 2nd, 2021, and will then be available to be made 60 days in advance. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more reopening updates from Disney World, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
