Another NEW fireworks show is set to have its public debut in Disney World for the 50th Anniversary celebrations! Disney Enchantment had its preview performance last night for the media, but tonight is the first time all guests can view the show in-person from Magic Kingdom!

Disney Enchantment is set to debut in just a couple of hours, so we’re bringing you along with us into the park to check out what the crowds are like — let’s take a look!
The brand new fireworks show will officially light up the night sky for the first time in front of a general audience at 9PM ET this evening, but we’ve been in the park all day bringing you a look at all the new offerings for the 50th-anniversary!

Park Pass Reservations completely booked up for Magic Kingdom before today, and, while there have been a whole lot of new treats, shows, and decorations to check out, crowds started gathering in the Hub area earlier in the day. In fact, Magic Kingdom paused Park Hopping this afternoon because the park had reached capacity.

A couple hours prior to the start of the show, the Hub area was filling up!

The crowds started to stretch past the Hub area a couple of hours before showtime as well and began stretching down Main Street.

The roads in the hub area were kept clear a bit longer to be used as walkways.

As it grew dark and showtime got closer and closer, you could definitely feel the crowds more up and down Main Street, U.S.A.

Here’s another view of the crowds about half way back on Main Street, U.S.A.!

We definitely have a lot of friends joining us this evening for Disney Enchantment!

Here’s a video of the crowds less than one hour before the start of Disney Enchantment:

About a half hour prior to showtime, guests were seeing notifications pop up on My Disney Experience letting them know that all viewing locations along Main Street U.S.A. were full, and that guests were encouraged to head to Frontierland, Fantasyland, or Tomorrowland for viewing.

Here’s what at capacity Main Street viewing locations look like:

No Matter how much I love Disney. I would not be in the parks the first day. It was very dangerous because of the virus. Will be going next year.
