PHOTOS: Get A Behind-The-Scenes Peek at EPCOT’s Upcoming Shop!

In case you haven’t heard, EPCOT is about to get a brand new shop!

The Creations Shop is currently under construction and set to replace Mouse Gear as EPCOT’s main merchandise location. So far, we’ve seen a sneak peek of what the store will look like, information on what materials Imagineers are using in the store, and a few other details.

Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley recently shared even more specifics about the Creations Shop with some behind-the-scenes photos of its construction progress.

There was even a preview of what the lighting fixtures inside the store will look like.

“Our teams are hard at work on the construction for Creations Shop and the surrounding area development,” Riddley wrote.

“These will serve as some of our first completed elements in the new World Celebration neighborhood (boldly announced in the blue of our new popcorn kiosk),” he continued. There’s a photo of the new popcorn kiosk, too!

Disney has not yet announced an opening date for the shop, but it’s set to open sometime this summer — Riddley wrote that he couldn’t wait for guests to see the final touches on the shop “later this summer.” We’ll keep an eye on the progress and let you know when we have an opening date!
