ALL of the Hidden Details in Disney World’s NEW Star Wars Hotel Poster!

More Disney World hotels are set to reopen by the end of 2021, but there’s one hotel that we’re really looking forward to opening in 2022!

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel is set to open in Disney World next year and will take guests on a 2-night adventure up into space to go on their very own Star Wars journey. We’ve gotten a peek at some of the dining experiences, staterooms, characters, and activities that you’ll encounter once it opens, and now we’re getting some more hints on what might lie ahead in a NEW poster that was released by Disney!

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser poster was released today and not only does it look like a poster for a brand new Star Wars movie, but it is also PACKED with hidden details. So, let’s break it down!

We’ll start off with the recognizable characters from the Star Wars films — Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, and Stormtroopers! Earlier this year we spotted two job postings for the new hotel that were looking for “Actors With Stunt/Combat Abilities” specifically in the roles of Rey and Kylo Ren.

So, we know that we’ll be encountering some of these iconic characters on board, and it looks like Chewy might be there too!

But, those aren’t the only characters you’ll find! Disney has also had casting calls for roles like the Captain, Cruise Director, Ship Mechanic, Fixer, First Order Lieutenant, Saber Trainer, First-Time Cruiser, AND Galactic Superstar. So, we might be getting a peek at what some of those characters will look like onboard in the center of the poster.

Of course, the characters in the middle could also be representative of the fact that each guest will be able to choose their own adventure when staying at the hotel and could end up fighting for the Light Side or the Dark Side.

On the poster in the top right corner, you can also recognize the ship that guests will be staying on — the Halcyon. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser isn’t located on Earth, so guests will arrive at the terminal for their stay and then board transport pods that will take them to the ship.

And, if you’re eye is drawn to all of the lightsabers on the poster, you’re in luck because you’ll find a lot of those onboard! Disney has shared a preview of the lightsabers that will be at the hotel (that are VERY realistic) and though they haven’t said how guests will be able to use them at the hotel, they have said that Rey and other characters will wield the lightsaber to create “dramatic in-person moments previously only seen in films or shows.”

On the bottom of the poster, you’ll spot the skyline of Batuu (aka Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios), which is where guests will stop during their travels…

…and on the lower left side, you can see the Crown of Corellia Dining Room which is one of the dining locations. It will feature breakfast and lunch in an open hall format and will then transform into an elegant dinner option with “a lavish multi-course menu of both otherworldly and familiar origins.”

And, the last detail we have to cover is the droid that is sitting front and center on the poster. Now, it certainly looks reminiscent of R2-D2 from the movies, but it’s got a different color pattern that makes us wonder if we’ll be able to create something like it on the Halcyon.

Of course, guests can already make their own droid at Droid Depot in Galaxy’s Edge, but could there be a new location coming soon? Or will there be droids roaming the halls? We’ll just have to wait and see!

So, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to when it comes to the new Star Wars hotel and we just might be learning more soon! Disney has shared that they will be hosting “the most in-depth discussion of this incredible new experience Walt Disney Imagineering has ever given publicly” very soon, so we’ll be on the lookout for more details!
