There’s a ton of new stuff coming to Disney World, especially with the big 50th anniversary coming up.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open on October 1st, as will the new fireworks show Harmonious in EPCOT! We also will see a new character cavalcade in Magic Kingdom and a new daytime show in Animal Kingdom. However, there’s still a few attractions that we have no new updates on from Disney, and one of those is TRON Lightcycle Run.
The attraction was announced back in 2017 and was supposed to open this year for the 50th anniversary, however construction has reportedly been delayed due to the pandemic.
Disney has given us no general timeline for when they’re hoping to open the ride, but we have seen a lot of construction on TRON over the last few months.
We recently stopped by Magic Kingdom to check out the ride’s progress, and it’s definitely shaping up nicely!
We noticed some new blue material on top of the outdoor canopy now. This will probably factor in to how the canopy will light up for the ride.
TRON is sure to be an exciting experienc. The original in Shanghai Disneyland is a huge hit, so we can’t wait to ride the coaster! As soon as we find out from Disney when they plan on having this attraction open, we’ll let you know, so stay tuned to AllEars.
