A Model of the NEW Star Wars Hotel is Now in Disney World!

Beyond all the new treats and merchandise that you can find in the parks, Disney has shared some big news on the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser immersive hotel experience coming to Disney World. We now know that we might have to wait a little longer before the starcruiser takes guests on their 2-night getaway to the galaxy far, far away, but we will be able to get a preview of what the journey holds!

Beginning today, you can check out a model of the new ship that guests will board at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser — named the Halcyon starcruiser — when visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

You can find the model set up inside Walt Disney Presents and it’s got its own dedicated area! Jeff Vahle, president of Walt Disney World Resort, shared a look at the new display space on his Instagram account and it looks like the model is giant!

Once open, guests will enter at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser terminal and get into a Launch Pod to make the jump to hyperspace and approach the Halcyon starcruiser where they will stay for their 2-night adventure.

Disney announced today that the opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is delayed to 2022, but has not yet released the official opening date. We will continue to keep an eye out for updates, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
