Fantasmic! Got a Fancy Makeover on the My Disney Experience Park Map!

Since Disney World reopened, a number of live shows, including Fantasmic!, have remained on hold.

Disney has not released a timeline for when Fantasmic! is expected to resume. But we did notice that the attraction has received a gorgeous makeover in the My Disney Experience app!

The My Disney Experience app allows guests to access digital maps of the parks to assist with planning their day. And it looks like Fantasmic! was recently given a bit of a glow-up on the map for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

When the Hollywood Studios map is zoomed out a bit to show the park entrance and Sunset Boulevard, we can see the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater (where Fantasmic! is held) in the top right. The map shows some pyro, lighting, and water effects, as well as Mickey standing center stage.

If we zoom in a bit, we can see more detail on the lighting and water effects that are shown. Plus, Mickey is super detailed, and even looks like he has a bit of a 3D effect!

We zoomed in even closer to check out all the details Sorcerer Mickey is sporting in the new update to the digital map.

Disney hasn’t yet shared an expected reopening timeline for Fantasmic!, but we’ll continue to keep a close eye out for any further updates!
