Though the cruise industry has started to look at what a post-closure cruise might look like, we are still seeing uncertainty when it comes to reopenings.
Disney Cruise Line, for instance, has canceled all sailings through January 2021 and announced delays on upcoming projects as well, like the Disney Wish ship.
Now, Disney Cruise Line has extended the temporary final payment policy to apply to all sailings through June 2021. Guests are able to make final payments up to 60 days before their departure.
Cancelation fees are now waived for sailings through June as well. Since Disney Cruise is currently unsure when it will reopen, guests who are booked in an unrestricted stateroom through June 2021 are given more flexibility with their departures through these extended final payment deadlines and cancelation fee waivers.
We’ll be keeping a close eye out for news of extended closure at Disney Cruise Line or any sign of a return to sailing. Keep an eye on AllEars for updates and don’t forget to ask us any questions if you. have them!
