Disney World reopened with modified shows and character entertainment.
Firework shows, like Happily Ever After, have been temporarily suspended to avoid crowding in large areas. Disney modified the previous Christmas castle show by adding holiday castle projections throughout the night. However, no pyrotechnics were added to the mini-show or any Disney World show upon reopening. Disney was testing out fireworks recently and we can now confirm that fireworks have returned to Magic Kingdom!
Disney World guests can get a taste of fireworks with the new holiday projection show! Before it begins, a small firework display is set off to initiate the holiday projections for the show. The fireworks are brief, but it’s the most pyro we’ve seen since the parks reopened!
The fireworks may be brief, but this is the closest thing we have seen to a fireworks show since Disney World reopened this summer!
