Tear Down This Wall! The Construction at Epcot Continues!

For the past few months, the main entrance to Epcot has been feeling a bit cramped. The ongoing transformation of Walt Disney World’s second oldest park has left a huge chunk of the entrance blocked off.

Also, there’s only like, four touch points open at the main entrance on weekdays.

Well… until now that is. Construction at Epcot is progressing as planned, which means those entrance walls are starting to come down!

That’s right, the construction walls along the left side of Epcot’s entrance are gone!

Look ma, no walls.
Plenty of space for crowds now!

Plus, we’re already starting to see some new elements being added to the park.

Green! Glorious Green!
Festive flora for all!

The Leave a Legacy markers are long gone, but in their place are beautiful new garden patches that have already been set up for the holidays. When the refurbished entrance is complete, it will be lush with new greenery and landscaping, much like it was when it first opened.

Currently, construction walls remain around the fountain, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see that transformation. We’ll post an update as soon as they come down. In the meantime, enjoy the new view!
