One of the coolest parts of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the Datapad, accessed through the Play Disney Parks App. By hacking into nodes, scanning crates, and intercepting transmissions, you can forge a place for yourself in the Star Wars galaxy!

With the opening of Rise of the Resistance, guests can now take on new jobs that expand the story of this epic new attraction! Will you aid Finn with his mission aboard the Star Destroyer, or sabotage Resistance Efforts for the First Order?
Both new experiences take place in the queue for the new attraction, and can be selected as you approach the gate.
Resistance members can help Finn in the Distress Signal Received mission. Finn plays a major role in the attraction, going undercover as a Stormtrooper to uncover the First Order’s plans for Batuu. In this choose-your-own adventure style experience, you’ll guide Finn through the Star Destroyer to free prisoners, hack droids, and uncover new items and schematics.
First Order Loyalists can go undercover with the Infiltrate Resistance Recruitment mission. With the aid of First Order Officer Anjay, you’ll scan resistance supply crates, intercept transmissions, and plant tracking beacons.

Both new missions offer exclusive titles, schematics, and items, and both will grant you a huge chunk of reputation with your chosen faction. They’ll also provide some deeper backstory and context to your ride experience! Why is Finn on that ship? How did the First Order know where to find you? Find out the answers to these questions and more by trying out these new missions!
You can try both new experiences, plus countless others, in the Play Disney Parks app when Rise of the Resistance opens on December 5th at Hollywood Studios, and January 17th at Disneyland Park.
Which side are you on? Are you Resistance Scum? A First Order Traitor? A Scoundrel out for yourself? Let us know in the comments, and may the Force be with you!
