  1. I was 9 on my first trip to EPCOT and it was easily my favorite park. Honestly, I couldn’t have cared less about Magic Kingdom (now my favorite park), but I could have ridden Horizons and World of Motion all day! Journey into Imagination (the old one) was just about the best thing ever, although not as much the ride. I LOVED the imagination labs at the end. I also thought World Showcase was amazing, but we didn’t get to stay for very long because my DAD was bored.

  2. I am 17 years old and ever since my first trip to WDW when I was 6, EPCOT has always been my favorite park! I have always found it fascinating to walk through the different countries. There’s just so much to do and see and learn about unique cultures for anyone, no matter child or adult. I hate how it’s always underestimated for kids because I believe they will enjoy it greatly if given the chance to!

  3. Epcot has been my seven year old daughter’s favourite park since she was old enought to express a preference, and Spaceship Earth is her favourite ride across all the parks. I think the idea that children find Epcot dull is utter nonsense, there’s lots for children to do and enjoy, and I find it really patronising when people feel that unless something is “princessy” little girls will be turned off from it.

  4. Epcot has always been my nephew’s favorite park (he’s eight now-been going to WDW since four). We have to go every trip. Animal Kingdom would probably be second place. I’m always surprised people assume kids won’t like it instead of giving them a chance to enjoy it.

  5. My 7 year old loves EPCOT. He loves coloring Perry/Duffy and learning about the countries. I think we underestimate our kids. While my son loves Testtrack, I think it is more about the design aspect than the ride itself. He always competes with his big brother to design the best car. Now he is tall enough to build his own coaster on Sum of All Thrills. Now we have a new competition on our hands. 🙂

  6. Awesome interviews! I love seeing kids being asked for their point of view. As adults, we strive to give our kids an unforgettable experience in Disney. It’s great to see a kid’s perception of the attractions. Keep up the great work, Deb & AllEars team!

  7. We were in WDW last summer and my 8 yr old turned 9 during the trip. I asked him what park he wanted to be in on the day of his birthday, fully expecting him to say Magic Kingdom – and he told me EPCOT. I had to rearrange my plans, but that is his favorite park and where he wanted to be.
