In addition to the Disney Vacation Club project, other guest areas within Disney's Wilderness Lodge are scheduled to undergo substantial enhancements and refurbishment, including new recreation and food and beverage options. Grand Avenue will be a streetscape evocative of downtown Los Angeles. The current Muppets Courtyard will become Grand Park, an urban square off Grand Avenue surrounded by shops and restaurants like PizzeRizzo and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. There are already changes in the area, with the Muppets theater being renamed "Grand Arts Theatre" and boasting a brand-new marquee. The Muppet*Vision 3D show will continue.
Jul. 17Wilderness Lodge : Disney ResortsCopper Creek Villas and Cabins Grand Opening! Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will feature 184 modern, nature-inspired vacation homes, including Deluxe Studios, one- and two-bedroom Villas, and even three-bedroom Grand Villas, which sleep up to 12. The new resort will also include 26 all-new luxurious waterfront cabins.
