Not worth waiting in line for considering the wait for this ride can easily exceed an hour. The ride consists of mostly cheap props and a few screens that repeat so often you're bound to see the same scene play out at least 3 times before you pass it. The animatronic is impressive and the music is contagious but this attraction is more like Gran Fiesta Tour than Pirates of the Caribbean. It's so short and with hardly anything to look at, you'll feel deflated after waiting so long to ride it.

Pros:

1 Very lifelike animatronic. Relaxing music.

Cons:

Long wait times. Very short. Feels cheap. Screens repeat scenes too often.

This ride is not worth the wait. If I could separate the wait from the ride I would say it’s pretty cool, especially if you liked the movie avatar and are familiar with the world they are recreating.

Pros:

Cool scenery

Cons:

NOT worth how long the wait typically is

Absolutely beautiful. Take time to look around and absorb all the detail. Lovely slow dark/boat ride. Incredible animatronics. Soundtrack incorporated seamlessly. I will ride this over and over once the wait times drop to a more reasonable average! Definitely a must see regardless.

Pros:

Intricate detailing

Cons:

Long waits

A very peaceful, pleasant ride! My autistic grandson transforms from easily agitated to calm, serene & happy when he is on this ride. A true blessing!

Pros:

All around great experience. Not everything had to be a thrill ride!

Cons:

None!

Good ride, but fop is way better.

Pros:

Super cool animatronic, beautiful colors and kinda relaxing.

Cons:

Not worth the long wait times, can get boring and it isn't fop.

Really beautiful and the animatronic is spectacular. We always add it to our list of things to do right before or after FoP. I do think that sometimes the wait times can be unreasonably long considering it's not a thrill ride or very long.

Pros:

Beautifully imagined and designed. The animatronic at the end is probably one of the best I've ever seen. Very relaxing and great for the whole family.

Cons:

Could be considered boring. Lines can be too long for what the ride offers.

I only wonder what lurks in the shadows. Who or what is watching from behind the bioluminescent flora?

Pros:

Yes, the animatronic of course.

Cons:

Lack of a Skipper and dad jokes.

If I am being honest, I think Na'vi River Journey is meant for art lovers. It is aesthetically stunning but for non Disney fans, the story for this ride is basically no where to be seen or understood. As you float down the rides path, you are always getting a sense that something big or extravagant will happen at the end. The animatronic is amazing and very life like but immediately after that, the ride turns a corner and is over. I hate to be this rude but it seems very anti-climatic. I wouldn't wait over 20 minutes for this ride but if you have never ridden it before, I think it is worth it. To me, it is a one and done type of attraction. After riding it once, you know everything that happens. Still, this ride is very pretty and a good addition to Animal Kingdom's lineup. Unless you have small children who cannot ride Flight of Passage yet, it is better to skip directly to Flight of Passage.

Pros:

Beautiful colors and visual effects including an amazing animatronic.

Cons:

Anti-climatic, short, not worth over a 20 minute wait, one and done attraction. Just skip it and go to Flight of Passage.
