Not sure if I like this one better than FOP, but they are both the top rides in Animal Kingdom. Stunning sites and sounds.

Claustrophobic 60 minute queue
Pros:
Mild kid ride. No one gets wet.Cons:
Way too long of queue that winds forever around and around and back to back with people and no airflow in the outdoor covered area. I don’t get panic attacks, but I felt on the verge of one being that close to people for so long and kids melting down! That ride is such an embarrassment for disney. So sad. No story line. No pre-ride info to set the mood. No dialogue on ride except one animated figure singing 4 words on repeat. Doesn't even have a lap bar for security it's SOOO boring. It's like pirates of Caribbean on slow motion with no drops and someone stole all the props except the grass. Must have been designed by the CEO's son and everyone was afraid to say something.

I never understand the amount of hate this ride gets! It may not be the most exciting ride ever, however the amount of detail put into every scene is incredible! Na’vi River Journey is exactly what the animal trails in other sections of the park are, just in a ride format! If you love Avatar, this is definitely a must do despite the bad reputation it seems to have.

If I didn't have LL I would have been very annoyed at waiting in line for this. If you don't have to wait, its a cool ride. The shaman animatronic is amazing!

This one was actually pretty cool. The lights and staging in this ride is awesome. Ride itself is very slow, which was actually nice after riding all the fast ones. Great time!

This ride often gets overlooked because people tend to ride it after being wowed by Flight of Passage but it's an incredible ride and I consider it a must do in Animal Kingdom.

Waited 70 minutes. Total waste of time and im a pretty big avatar fan. The ride is just boring. There is no storyline, the queue theming is terrible compared to FOP. Unless you have young kids who are obsessed with avatar I see no Reason to ride this.

Although beautiful, and accommodating for all ages in your party… it’s boring. There is no storyline, 2 animatronics, and the ride itself is very short.
