This ride is pretty rough on riders. There is a lot of jerky braking, it's loud, and can be scary for children. There is also some stretches where there is nothing to see, literal dark halls of nothing. Some will find this ride thrilling but I mostly just felt uncomfortable the entire time. The dinosaurs are pretty neat to look at though.

This ride is not my favorite. I hurt my neck on this bumpy ride. Also, the dinosaurs and jump scares are TERRIFYING. I have only been on this ride once, but I will ride it again since I know what to expect now. If you aren't sure how rough it is, skip it. It's not a must-do.

Very immersive, but past its prime. A definite "must-do" if you've never been to AK before, but not one you need to repeat. Absolutely terrifying for small kids.

A different ride experience for Animal Kingdom, but not our family's favorite

This ride is my least favorite at Animal Kingdom (I don't count the other two rides in Dinoland, sorry).
It's a rough ride and I feel like some of the lighting isn't working. And some of the animatronics. I'm also not a fan of the plot or the Dinosaur movie.
It's not a big deal if I don't make it to this attraction while visiting Animal Kingdom.
All this being said, I wouldn't be upset if this ride (maybe even Dinoland as a whole) was re-themed in the future.

It was a fun, entertaining, and thrilling ride, but it was very bumpy and I was pretty discombobulated afterwards.

Adventurous ride through the dangerous past attempting to save a certain type of dinosaur with lots of other not so friendly dinosaurs. Can be a rough ride and a little scary for some. If you have a big fan of dinosaurs they will love it. We usually skip this one.
