Disney Just Quietly Revealed HUGE Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party News

It may only be April, but that means we’ve only got six months until Halloween, and only FOUR months until Disney starts celebrating spooky season!

Universal Orlando began announcing Halloween Horror Nights news back in March, but it’s not uncommon for Disney to start releasing information in April. Now, we’ve received our first clue directly from Disney about when the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party could be!

Disney released a fun clue to hint at some Halloween news that will be coming our way soon. The clue reads, “when the pumpkin hour chimes just right, A clock Unveils secrets within siGht, check the hands, then coUnt the patch, the harveSt holds the first date to caTch!” When you put all the capital words together, it spells out August!

The clock hand also points to eight, which could also be August, as it’s the 8th month of the year. The roman numerals at the top translate to 2026, and when it comes to counting what’s in the photo, there are seven pumpkins, which leads us to believe the first date of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year will be August 7th!

Disney then also revealed a SECOND card, this one with the hint, “On this shelf, sits trinkets in dark gloom, Where keepsakes rest and secrets accrue, An upcoming trove waits to be found. Observe what’s stored and look all around. Special items are coming your ways, And may appear quicker the longer you gaze.” When we look closely at this one, we can see hints to Haunted Mansion, Ursula, Maleficent, a green alien from Toy Story inside the black top hat, The Evil Queen, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and more!

This is quite the popular offering in Magic Kingdom each year, so if you’re looking for tickets closer to Halloween, we recommend grabbing them as soon as they go on sale (which we’re guessing Disney will announce VERY soon!). Even for other dates, we suggest snagging them as soon as you know you want to go, as each night usually sells out well in advance of the party date.
