Disney Fan Ranks Every EPCOT Ride — Do You Agree?

When it comes to theme parks, like any form of art, rankings are subjective. Everyone who’s ever been to Walt Disney World — from once-in-a-lifetime visitors to Disney aficionados — likely has their own list of favorite attractions (Guilty!) that other guests may not agree with.

Spaceship Earth

Recently, one of our readers took to our AllEars rating pages to score nearly every attraction currently at EPCOT. Their thoughts… are interesting in places, so let’s dive in!

Reader mwpanek began ranking all of EPCOT’s attractions in early 2026. They began with Moana: Journey of Water. They gave the walk-through experience, which is one of EPCOT’s newest attractions, being added as part of the park’s “reimagining,” a 10/10, and described it as a “beautiful, vibey walkthrough attraction.” They went on to call Journey of Water, “helpful in the daytime when it’s hot and gorgeous at night.”

Journey of Water

While a 10/10 might be a bit generous, we can’t argue with the idea that Journey of Water is a beautifully landscaped and certainly welcome attraction in the Florida summer heat.

Next up, there’s the park’s newest E-Ticket, the Marvel-themed Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. mwpanek offered the coaster another 10/10, writing “RIDE THIS ATTRACTION. That’s all.”

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

We can’t argue with that, as the spinning indoor coaster certainly provides a really fun, unique experience that really feels like gliding through space. The experience only gets better if your ride is paired with your favorite of the ride’s six offered songs (Your author’s favorite: “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears).

Cosmic Rewind

They also offered a 10/10 to Turtle Talk with Crush, the interactive show at The Seas with Nemo and Friends. The attraction, part of the early 2000s Living Character Initiative, features an animated Crush voiced in real time by Cast Members. mwpanek wrote of the show in part, “F’real, you get to meet Crush. Their performances are there in real time and he deserves more leafy greens given how quick & responsive he needs to be at every showing.”

Turtle Talk with Crush

While a perfect score does feel a bit too kind, there’s no denying that the show still feels fresh two decades in thanks to the live element.

mwpanek next ranked EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth, giving the iconic dark ride set inside the park’s icon a 10 / 10, calling it “classic opening day EPCOT. Incredible how & where the attraction is set inside the park’s icon.”

EPCOT

This might be my inner EPCOT Adult coming out, but I have no qualms with that perfect score, nor do most members of our AllEars team.

Scientists on Spaceship Earth

Soarin’ has been a favorite of many Disney World fans since it made its East Coast debut at EPCOT in 2005, so it’s no surprise that mwpanek gave it another 10/10, writing that the ride is a “super relaxing flight across the world.” However, they did share the “controversial” opinion that the worldwide version is superior to the “Over California” ride film.

Soarin’

While the Soarin’ ride system just celebrated its 25th birthday (remember, it was an opening day California Adventure attraction), it still feels pretty revolutionary to ride, which still gives it a high score in our book.

Things take a turn when mwpanek reaches Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, the Pixar-based dark-ride/screen-based attraction hybrid located in France. They bluntly write that the “Rat Ride is fine. Just fine” while giving it a  5 / 10.  Ouch, apparently mwpanek is an Anton Ego-level critic.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

5/10 seems a bit low for Remy’s in our book, as the ride’s sets and trackless ride system alone make it worth a ride by themselves. Would be interesting to know if mwpanek’s rating was from before or after the ride changed over from 3D to 2D.

mwpanek’s Mission: Space review was blunt and to the point: A 1 / 10, accompanied by the description, “Super small and tight zero-g spinner. Not for me.”

Mission: SPACE

Given the fact that Mission: Space reviews tend to split into two camps: Those who enjoy the ride’s realistic replication of space flight testing, and those who find the ride nauseating and lament that it replaced the iconic Horizons. Clear to see where mwpanek stands.

On Mission: SPACE

On the other side of the park, both in geography and in rating, mwpanek gave Living With the Land a 10 / 10, calling it, “Unironically one of WDW’s best attractions. Boat ride, educational, relaxing, long.”

Glimmering Greenhouses

Yeah, we’re forever truly “living with the land”, so no arguments here.

mwpanek puts the current incarnation of Journey Into Imagination ride in the middle ground with a 5 / 10 score. They wrote that the attraction is a “relic of its OG version” that’s only saved by the presence of Figment.

Hey Figgy!

I’ve made my thoughts on the current incarnation of Journey Into Imagination quite clear, so I can’t argue much with this review, nor would many members of our team.

Figment!

Mexico’s Gran Fiesta Tour gets a 6 / 10, being called a “relaxing and quick-loading boat ride.”

Gran Fiesta Tour

While an old-EPCOT Head like me would likely inch the score up a point or two just based on nostalgia and love of the original, a middle ground score is likely the right zone for this aging Mexico Pavilion attraction.

These animatronics need some TLC every now and then, too

Speaking of World Showcase boat rides, mwpanek gives Frozen Ever After a 9 / 10, calling it a “Great paint-by-numbers retelling of Frozen.”

Will the new Anna and Elsa animatronics bump the rating to a 10/10?

mwpanek’s final three EPCOT reviews were a 6/10 for Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival, a 4/10 for Canada Far and Wide, and a 9 / 10 for The American Adventure.

  1. Can’t agree with most of it except a 10 for spaceship earth. The Tron cycles are awesome. I miss maelstrom. Soarin makes me really sick, so no go for me. I agree with mission to mars. It’s claustrophobic. I like the ride in the Mexican pavilion. Frozen is boring. I like all dino rides, but the intro has got to go.

  2. How could Impressions of France be left out? It is a stunning 10/10. I only wish it was shown more frequently, having been preempted during daytime hours by the far inferior Beauty & the Beast Sing-Along.
