You'll Never Believe What Show Was Filming in EPCOT This Week!

We’re in Disney World nearly every day, which means we’ve seen a LOT of things. Tons of magical moments, that’s for sure, but we’ve also seen our fair share of…strange things.

By that, we mean we’ve seen people sitting IN the fountain in EPCOT’s France Pavilion (very much not allowed, by the way), some pretty outrageous souvenirs, as well as some pretty cool Cast Member water art and taped boxes on the ground that get you applause from Cast Members when you step inside. However, we’ll be the first to admit that we did NOT expect to see casting for this popular TV show in EPCOT rather than Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

While we were walking around EPCOT the other day, we noticed a sign out near the World Showplace building that stated that audience members were needed for America’s Funniest Home Videos!

Audience members needed to vote on the videos shown on screen, and it was free to take part. We noticed that Cast Members were standing between the UK and Canada Pavilions with sign-up forms to ask guests if they were interested in participating.

What we find really interesting about this is that this was taking place in EPCOT, rather than Hollywood Studios, the park that’s based on the movies, Hollywood, and filming. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen filming for this show take place here — something very similar happened in World Showplace last year as well, so it’s our assumption that this location is just more ideal for the show.
