Disney World hotels are wonderful for many, many reasons, but as we’ve stayed in many of them over the years, we also have to admit to you that there are some downsides a lot of people don’t think about.

For one thing, the walls are THIN. In fact, while we find them to be thin at basically all Disney World hotels, they’re especially thin over at Disney World Value Resorts. If you find it hard to sleep when the noise level isn’t just right, we’ve got an essential you TOTALLY need for your next trip.
Our reporter, who recently tried this product out, admitted that she used to be a skeptic. In fact, she went as far as to say that she used to gawk at other people saying they needed noise machines/sounds to sleep, but the small Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine has totally changed her mind!

This thing is SO small it can literally fit into the palm of your hand, and it comes in a wide variety of colors for you to choose which one you’d like best. It’s got 35 different volume settings, as well as 16 different sounds ranging from DIFFERENT kinds of fans and fan speeds, to standard white noise, soundscapes, waterfalls, rain, birds, lullabies, and beyond. It’s also equipped with a timer button that can be set to either 30, 60, or 90 minutes for intervals, or set not to cut off until you turn it off when you wake up.

We also love that its charger is the same USB-C that many newer phones have, which means you don’t need as many cords — hooray for that! Our reporter didn’t think she’d really had any trouble sleeping, but after she tried this out for a few nights, she realized just how different she was sleeping already (in a good way). She felt much more rested and relaxed, and we feel that with all those settings and volume controls, everyone will be able to find the perfect sound for them.

The battery easily lasted all night (or you can keep it plugged in, if you’d like), and we found no issues with it other than that, if you have longer nails, the buttons will be a little harder to push. Otherwise, we have ZERO complaints about this essential, and truly think you’ll get lots of use out of it on your Disney trip, or any other trip you go on!
We’re continuously trying out new products in the parks and around Disney World resort to see if it’s truly an essential for your trip, or if you can skip it. Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest reviews!
