If you’re heading to Disney World, you might be daydreaming about all the restaurants you’ll want to eat at while on vacation.

There are some Disney World restaurants that just stand out above the rest and become so popular that it can be hard to grab a reservation for. One of these is Be Our Guest at Magic Kingdom. If you are hoping to dine here, we have some great information to share with you to make it easier.
1. Set Your Alarm
Be Our Guest has become very popular among Disney World guests, and grabbing an advanced dining reservation can be difficult. You will want to set that alarm early for 60 days before your vacation. Secure your reservation by prioritizing it when booking your dining. We suggest grabbing this one first, as it can fill up quickly.

2. Check the Waitlist
If you don’t have luck grabbing a reservation in advance, don’t sweat it. You can still join the waitlist for Be Our Guest! There might not always be availability, but it’s worth checking day of. You can join the waitlist from your phone through the MyDisney app or head to the reservation stand located in front of Be Our Guest.

3. It’s NOT Your Average Character Dining
You can often find the Beast roaming about the castle, welcoming guests for dinner. However, this is not your typical character dining. The Beast does not visit every table and only visits each room for a short period of time. He might stop for a picture or two, but he will not be spending time with every guest. This is very different than your normal character meal. Also, don’t expect to see Belle while you are at the castle.

4. Check the Menu
The menu here is prix fixe and comes with three courses for both lunch and dinner. As it is a prix fixe menu and it is not cheap to dine here, we recommend scanning the menu ahead of time to ensure that those in your travel party will be happy with the offerings.

For entrees, we have enjoyed the Grilled Filet Mignon or the Short Rib Beef Bourguignon as they are both tasty, filling, and worth more in value, which takes advantage of the prix fixe cost. For dessert, adults will enjoy the Dessert Trio that includes Chocolate Tart, Dark Chocolate Truffle with Orange Cognac-Brandy Ganache, and a Lemon Jam Macaron. There is a plant-based option as well.

For our appetizer, we have enjoyed the French Onion Soup au Gratin, which is smooth, cheesy, and delicious. We would avoid the Mixed Greens Salad as it is similar to your typical salad, and let’s face it — a salad is a salad.

5. Plan Your Day Around It
As this is a 3 course meal, you will be spending a solid amount of time dining here. We suggest planning to be here at least an hour and a half so as not to rush through your meal. You’ll want to avoid eating a large meal before heading here so that you don’t come full.

6. It’s an Experience
As we mentioned, dining here is pricey. Lunch and Dinner both are $72 for adults and $43 for children. You are paying more than your average meal for the experience of dining in the Beast’s castle. If this is something that just doesn’t appeal to you, it might be a skip!

We hope this helps you on your Disney World vacation. For more, be sure to follow AllEars.net.
