Disney World is always changing — you never know what might reopen one day! Take the Morocco Pavilion, for example. Restaurant Marrakesh has been permanently closed for a while, but soon, we’re expecting this space to be used as an Annual Passholder lounge!Â

Speaking of things that are closed in EPCOT, there’s a backstage tour we’ve been seriously missing. It’s called EPCOT Seas Adventures – DiveQuest, and this scuba experience has been unavailable for months. Well, after a long hiatus, DiveQuest is returning!
Let’s begin with the backstory. In 2024, Disney World relocated three male dolphins to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park in Fort Walton Beach, effectively ending the EPCOT Seas Adventures — Dolphins in Depth tour. This was a two-hour backstage tour and dolphin encounter.

At the same time, Disney temporarily closed EPCOT Seas Adventures — DiveQuest, a two-hour backstage tour and SCUBA experience in a 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium featuring coral and aquatic life such as sea turtles, reef fish, stingrays, and sharks. We knew the experience was set to reopen in 2025, and now, we know when it will return.Â

According to the Disney World website, you can start booking DiveQuest reservations beginning May 1st, 2025! The calendar shows plenty of availability, and tickets are $229–$249 per person (tax not included).

There are a few important things to note about this experience:
- Advance reservations are highly recommended, as availability is limited (book on the Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app!)
- Proof of Open Water SCUBA certification is required for this program
- You must be 10 or older in order to participate
- All diving equipment is provided, and personal diving equipment is not permitted, though you may bring your own dive mask
- A bathing suit is required to enter the water
- Check in at Guest Relations, located near the Main Entrance of EPCOT, 15 minutes prior to the start of your experience

This is a super unique thing to do in Disney World — check it out if you’re Open Water SCUBA certified!
