EPCOT Is Preparing for a BIG Event! New Additions Spotted in 2 World Showcase Pavilions

One of the biggest days of the year is on its way, and Disney World is already preparing!

Christmas has come and gone, which is notoriously a busy time in the Disney World parks, but there’s an equally busy day coming up that usually brings massive crowds to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. That’s right, New Year’s Eve is on the way, and one park is already preparing.

While we were walking around EPCOT the recenty, we noticed that the lights are up in multiple pavilions in the World Showcase!

Live entertainment is a big part of New Year’s Eve in EPCOT, and we’re super excited to see all the different bands performing throughout the World Showcase.

These lights also help turn other spaces throughout the park into fun dance zones with upbeat music, flashing lights, and everything you need to truly make a party happen.

However, that’s not all! We also noticed different tents going up around the World Showcase, likely in preparation for the Festival of the Arts.

If you haven’t gotten your park pass yet for EPCOT or Magic Kingdom (for Annual Passholders, you’ll want to keep a VERY close eye on them — availability is mostly sold out already, but some last-minute slots may open up. If you’re traveling with a date-based ticket, be sure to get to the park EARLY and DON’T LEAVE — it’s possible the park could fill up in the morning, and no more guests will be let in throughout the day unless others leave, and you don’t want to be left out of the celebration!
