Big Crowds Will Hit Disney World Next Week!

Are you headed to Disney World this month?

Maybe you’re ready to take a bite into a cheeseburger spring roll, rock with the Guardians of the Galaxy on Cosmic Rewind, and visit Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Well, if you ARE going in February, we’ve got a word of warning about some dates that could bring EXTRA crowds to the parks.

The 2024 runDisney Princess Half Marathon races will run from February 22nd through the 26th, 2024.

The event will include a half marathon, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and a 19.3 mile challenge. Runners will be making their way through the parks and surrounding areas while meeting Disney characters and seeing entertainment on the course.

That means a lot of runners will be heading to the parks over that weekend, adding to the crowds. Also, certain areas around Disney World could be blocked off, meaning traffic might be diverted — and backed up — as each event takes place.

So be warned if you have plans to be in Disney World during that time — things are going to be BUSY.
