Are you planning a trip to Disney World? Are you still trying to decide where to stay?

It’s no secret that Disney World has TONS of hotel choices (over 30!), and each hotel has its own vibe. But if you’re looking for a hotel that will appeal to EVERYONE in your party (and, basically, just everyone, in general), we can tell you EXACTLY where you should stay: Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
Why is Pop Century the PERFECT hotel for everyone? Well, let’s look at everything it offers to those who stay there.
Theming
One of the MOST fun things about Pop Century is its theming, which looks at pop culture through the decades. Where else are you going to find a giant Mickey phone, a massive Yo-Yo, and even a gigantic Rubik’s Cube? This resort is just SO much fun and leans heavily into its theming. Even the music you hear there will be hits from the 50s through the 80s. It’s just FUN.

Kids love the over-the-top theming, but adults will appreciate the nostalgia when they see all these pop culture symbols. Even better? It’s also educational because you’ll find signs with trivia about things that happened during each decade throughout the resort.
Pools
If you and your family like to spend some time at the pool, Pop Century’s Hippy Dippy Pool might just be one of the best pools on Disney World property. This is the largest of THREE pools at the resort and is shaped like a flower (so very 1960s). There’s also a splash pad nearby for younger kids.

There’s also the Computer Pool in the 1980s section of the resort, as well as a Bowling Pool shaped like a bowling pin in the 1950s section.
Skyliner
Pop Century also has access to Disney World’s newest transportation option, the Skyliner, which goes to several other Disney resorts, as well as to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Skyliner might be one of Disney World’s most convenient forms of transportation, and it’s also one of the most fun — it’s almost its own attraction.

If you need to go somewhere on Disney property without Skyliner access, Disney buses are available.
Price
Pop Century is a value resort, meaning it’s one of the less expensive options on Disney World property. Although a room here costs more than a room at one of the All-Star Resorts, it’s often worth it to pay a little more for that Skyliner access.

Pop Century is also a smaller resort, meaning you won’t get stuck in a room that feels like it’s miles away from the hotel’s lobby and transportation options.
Early Theme Park Entry
Because Pop Century is a Disney hotel, guests who stay there get the Early Theme Park Entry perk, which allows them to get into any of Disney World’s four theme parks a half hour earlier than guests not staying on property.

Early Theme Park Entry can often be KEY in getting to ride the more popular rides with shorter wait times.
So, as you can see, Pop Century is FULL of benefits and perks that should appeal to just about anyone. It is certainly a popular hotel and can fill up fast during busier times of the year, like the holidays, so if you want to book a room, do it as soon as you can.
We’ll be back with even more Disney tips, tricks, and news, so be sure to check back with AllEars soon.
