If we weren’t already excited about this year’s EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, Disney just gave us something to be extra excited about.
The festival runs from July 27th through November 18th, and will bring a variety of food booths, entertainment, activities, and new merchandise to EPCOT during the festival. However, there’s only ONE thing we now know will be a MUST for this year’s event…and it involves…The MUPPETS!
One of the food booths at this year’s EPCOT Food & Wine Festival will be Muppet Labs. YES, as in Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker. It seems the two Muppets have been busy creating some snacks for the festival, including the Unnecessarily Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings and the Pickle Milkshake.
It seems like Disney decided to get REALLY experimental with this year’s food for the festival. All we can say is we’re happy to see more Muppet representation in Disney World. This is a perfect fit for the Muppets, and yes, we’re even excited to try the Pickle Milkshake — for science!
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker will be appearing at Muppets Lab via video, and will not be live — a fact that only slightly broke our hearts and crushed our souls beyond all repair.
While you’re at it, you can now get a look at the full menus for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, too. It’s time to start making that list of must-eats! Eat to the Beat will be returning this year, too — you can see the full concert line-up here. Dining packages are also now available to book for the concerts.
