Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Unexpectedly CLOSED In Disney World

It’s not uncommon to run into a few ride closures when you’re visiting Disney World.

Whether it’s for a planned refurbishment, inclement weather, or unplanned technical difficulties, it can certainly throw a clinker into your plans. Recently, we’ve been seeing quite a few unexpected closures of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and, it looks like some issues have struck again today.

Early this morning, we passed by the attraction only to notice that there was no line at all. And, rather than chalking it up to luck, we came to find that the ride was actually closed — a Cast Member shared with us that the attraction was experiencing technical difficulties.

This closure was also reflected in the My Disney Experience app.

Cast Members did inform us that they expect the ride to be back up later today, so be sure to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app if you’re in the park! We’ll also monitor the situation and let you know if anything changes, so keep checking back with us, too!
