Disney World’s closures started nearly two years ago, and we’re still covering the reopening of certain guest services and offerings.

Today, we’re at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to check out the grand reopening of their signature spa!
The Grand Floridian Spa is back as of today, welcoming guests looking to be pampered on their Disney World vacation. This location offers traditional spa and salon services, including hair cuts and styling, as well as manicures and pedicures.

Not only is the spa reopening, but it’s back with a new look! According to Disney, the spa will feature “clam lighting and comforting music” that goes along with the resort’s classic Victorian theming.

Let’s take a step inside and see what this newly reopened location looks like!

The waiting room and lobby area have relaxing cool tones, and there’s a mural behind the check-in desk that shows tropical plants and animals.

We checked out that “clam lighting” in the hallways, which also have ornate wallpaper and luxurious accents.

There were more cool tones and comfortable chairs in a lounge area…

…and the locker room had wooden lockers for guests to store their things during the spa experience.

There are also rooms for the showers…

…as well as a Steam Room and Spa Pool.

Before your experience, a Cast Member will ask you to choose a little stone, and the one you choose determines what scent is used during your treatment.

Note that face coverings are required throughout the experience.

The spa is available from 9AM to 6PM, and reservations are currently being accepted.

Doesn’t that all look so relaxing? Book your reservation soon if you want to add a spa service to your next Disney World vacation. Be sure to follow along for more of the latest news and updates from the parks and resorts.
