One of the most fun things to do at Disney World is seeing the characters –whether they’re just out and about greeting guests or they’re waving from a float during a cavalcade.

There’s just something special about seeing those characters in person. But the way you’ll see some characters at EPCOT has just changed.
We recently noticed that the EPCOT Princess Promenade was missing from Disney World’s website on the EPCOT Entertainment page.

A Cast Member later confirmed that the Princess Promenades at EPCOT have officially come to an end. Instead, the princesses are now available for socially-distanced meet and greets. Anna and Elsa continue to meet guests at the Norway Pavilion.

We recently saw both Aurora and Belle in front of the World Showcase Lagoon near France.

We’ve previously seen Mulan at the China Pavilion near the theater there.

Jasmine has been sighted on the stage at the Morocco Pavilion.

And Snow White has been spotted in the Germany Pavilion.

So now there’s a new way to see the princesses at EPCOT. And this way, you can talk and interact with them in a way you couldn’t during the Princess Promenades. If we spot any other characters at Disney World, we’ll let you know!

I’m grateful for the normalcy returning but I really enjoyed the spontaneity of the cavalcade’s. I especially enjoyed the excitement it brought my daughter to see all her favorites together and interacting. She gets very shy at the meet and greets so the cavalcade was perfect for her. Close enough and even seeing princesses wave directly at her. Would be nice to have those stick around but maybe with less frequency of course to allow for other events to return.
