PHOTOS: The Start of the Holidays Brought Serious CROWDS to Magic Kingdom Today

Holiday cavalcades, festive snacks, and all kinds of fun has arrived in Magic Kingdom for the holiday season!

But, that’s not the only thing that’s arrived. Today, we also found QUITE a lot of one other thing in Magic Kingdom…people.

There truly were some serious crowds in Magic Kingdom today. Of course, these crowds are not as big as the ones we would see during peak holiday times in the past, but they are still quite large.

This was particularly true in Frontierland where LOTS of guests were standing along the sides, waiting for the holiday character cavalcades.

You can see quite a lot of people lining up on both sides of the path. It seems we weren’t the only ones excited for the start of the holidays in Disney World.

Guests were particularly crowded up in areas right near the front of where the cavalcades would pass by.

Considering it is only November 6th and there is still over a month left of the holiday season, we expect that high crowd levels will continue — at least on weekends and particularly on days like Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.

While capacity continues to be limited at the Disney World theme parks, we have seen crowds increase on other holidays and that was certainly what we saw in certain parts of the park today. Again, the most crowds seemed to be around the cavalcade areas (although some also spread throughout other areas of the park) so you may want to make sure that you either stay away from particularly tight areas in the park when the cavalcades are passing by, or keep yourself a few steps behind the rest of the crowd.
