A Popular Disney World Restaurant Just Issued A CROWD WARNING

The holidays have finally arrived! After months of shopping for the perfect presents, preparing those tasty recipes, and taking care of every tiny holiday ornament, the big week is here.

We love Disney Springs during the holidays!

If you’re spending the holidays in Disney World, you can expect limited-time treats, extra magic, and some pretty big crowds.  These crowds are going to require some serious planning, and one Disney World restaurant has issued a formal warning ahead of the chaos!

Disney World holiday crowds are nothing new! Some of the busiest days of the year around the resorts are Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. These days are packed with extra special fun, and if you get your mind ready, the crowds won’t disrupt your days too much.

Even Disney Springs gets in on the fun with the Christmas Tree Stroll, snacks, and more. If you don’t know, Disney Springs is Disney’s shopping and dining district that doesn’t require a ticket and you don’t even have to pay to park! For many people, it’s a fun way to experience Disney without paying for a park ticket, which means it can also get packed during those busy seasons. To prepare for the onslaught of crowds, The Boathouse has issued a warning that we think everyone needs.

Over on Instagram, the restaurant posted a Holiday Parking notice! They wrote, “When parking at Disney Springs during the busy holiday season, please arrive at least 60 minutes before any reservation.”

They continued to say, “Digital message boards along Buena Vista Drive will indicate when garages and surface lots are full. Due to limited capacity, Disney Springs may need to occasionally pause parking and pedestrian entry. Uber, Lyft, and ride-sharing are encouraged.

We are here to cosign this note! We’re in the parks every single day (including holidays), so we know firsthand just how busy this time of year can be.
Even on normal days, we like to arrive well before our dining reservations to avoid any issues or problems we might encounter on our way. If you need it, Disney restaurants do offer a 15-minute grace period if there are any issues.

Disney holiday crowds can be overwhelming if you aren’t prepared for them, but arriving early, using Lightning Lanes, and planning ahead can make your vacation a perfect one.
