Now You Can Bring a Fan-Favorite Holiday Tradition Home From Disney World!

Disney World’s holiday celebrations looked a little different in 2020, but this year, many fan-favorite offerings and activities are returning to the parks and resorts.

The Merry Menagerie is coming BACK to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

This includes things like the giant gingerbread displays at select hotels, the FULL Christmas parade at Magic Kingdom (only during Disney Very Merriest After Hours), and even the Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And, if you’re excited to welcome back the adorable wintry animal puppets, then you’re going to want to see what we found today!

Disney is now selling new Merry Menagerie Hand Puppets at select locations in Animal Kingdom! We found both a Penguin and Polar Bear Puppet at a merchandise kiosk just outside of Discovery Trading Company.

Each hand puppet is modeled after the life-sized puppets that Cast Members use during the holidays, so you’ll find all of the intricate details on the Polar Bear…

And, the Penguin Puppet is decked out in his purple and blue pattern.

Each of the puppets has a spot to put your hand into so that you can be one of the Merry Menagerie performers yourself. Plus, you might even get to see them being used in the park when the puppeteers come out beginning November 12th according to a Cast Member that we spoke with.

You can control it’s head and body motions!

They cost $29.99 and can only be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom right now.
