The holidays at Disney World can be magical, from the decorations to the special new holiday treats.
There’s a Disney World holiday tradition we particularly love, which is checking out the famous gingerbread house displays! These elaborate gingerbread houses are carefully designed by Disney pastry chefs and showcased in select locations around Disney World, and today Disney let us know when and where to find them for 2021.
In Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa lobby, guests will find a storybook gingerbread house from November 10th through January 1st. This life-size gingerbread house will be decorated with white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, and sugar poinsettias, and there will be “cinnamon clouds” coming from the chimneys! Guests will also be able to buy house made gingerbread houses AND gingerbread ornaments.
And the Grand Floridian is not the only Disney World Resort with a special holiday display! Disney’s Beach Club Resort will have a life-size spinning carousel from November 1st through January 2nd. This year the carousel will be The Little Mermaid themed, and the design will include hand-painted and handcrafted holiday characters, gingerbread shingles, and fondant snowflakes. You can also visit Disney’s Yacht Club lobby for a holiday village and a miniature train!
Over in EPCOT, you can visit The American Adventure rotunda to check out the gingerbread versions of the Lincoln Memorial and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial! These will be mini edible replicas, and there will also be a mini American Adventure building and an EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Holiday Kitchen! You can find this display from November 26th through December 30th.
