When introducing new color-changing merchandise, Disney really knows how to roll out the red carpet!
Recently, a real life Star Wars heroine made a surprise appearance at Disney World to spotlight some new lightsabers, and dazzle some unsuspecting fans in the process!
Imagine casually posing for a few socially distant photos with friends, when all of a sudden your idol shows up. That’s pretty much what just went down at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, when Ashley Eckstein joined a nighttime photo shoot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Best known as the voice of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Eckstein documented her secretive journey on Instagram, explaining how no one had any clue she was at Disney World to introduce the new Ahsoka Tano color-changing lightsabers!
As Eckstein notes in her Insta story, it’s all about making magical moments for people. Not only did she surprise fans, but she also autographed a couple hundred of the new lightsabers!
The special moment was a heartwarming one to behold, even through a phone screen!
And in case you want to get in on the action, those color-changing lightsabers are now at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
